Description
Theory and methods of understanding the nature of human development over the life span will be compared and evaluated. Individual development will be studied as a function of biological, social, and psychological factors. Life stages will be examined and differences in individual experiences will be evaluated in relation to social systems, such as family and community. Continuity and change will be considered in terms of personality, identity, and roles. Cultural diversity in accomplishing developmental tasks will be emphasized. Distribution Requirements: IP, SP.
