NEURO 580 - Jr Seminar: Human Perception

Description
Students examine the broad field of human perception with an emphasis on vision and touch. Topics include the neural areas involved in perception, the interaction of bottom-up and top-down processes, and the effects of brain injury. Students prepare and discuss presentations on themes within this field from the point of view of a neuroscientist and/or psychologist. Prerequisite: Psych 206/207 or Bio 385; and one of Psych 150, 152, 154 or Neuro 110; and permission of the instructor Distribution Requirements: None
