MUSIC 580 - Junior Seminar

Description
The Junior Seminar is a bibliography/research seminar which moves from the study of general bibliographical resources to specific tools for research in music. Students research and deliver papers and class presentations on assigned topics. The evolution of Senior Project topics and early research on these topics are two important goals of this course. However, students are not obligated to continue their seminar topics into their Senior Projects. Credit: Two semester hours. Prerequisites: MUSIC*286, MUSIC*287 or MUSIC 289 and permission of the instructor. Distribution Requirements: None.
