LS 235 - Tutoring Across Disciplines

Description
An exploration of the practical and theoretical concepts of tutoring. Through reading, practice and reflective writing, current and potential subject tutors and writing/speaking consultants will develop the knowledge and skills to effectively assist learners. Students who successfully earn credit for the course and document 25 hours of tutoring/consulting will earn Level One College Reading and Learning Association International Tutoring Training Program Certification (CRLA ITTPC). Must be taken Credit/No Credit. Prerequisite: none Distribution Requirements: none
