GHS 235 - Global Health Ethics

Description
An introductory ethical study of global health inequalities and our responses to them. Topics include health, justice, and human rights; moral responsibility in global health contexts; power, poverty, and health; ethics and global health governance; the ethics of international medical research; global inequities in access to medical resources; and specific health injustices associated with culture, race, and gender. Prerequisite: GHS*130. Distribution Requirements: PD.
