FS 101 - Academic Discourse I

Description
An introduction to critical thinking through oral and written communication. The topical material covered in the seminar varies from section to section. All first-year students take Academic Discourse I during the fall semester; the seminar instructor serves as the student's first academic advisor. As part of the advising process, students explore both individual interests and possible academic paths. Must be taken on a letter grade basis. Distribution Requirements: None.
