ENVSC 210 - Environmental Research Methods

Description
An examination of analytical research methods used to study the environment. Solving environmental problems requires expertise in conducting research and in understanding how research is performed. Students will participate in field- and laboratory-based research of environmental issues within natural science and social science. Fundamental research skills, including hypothesis definition, experimental design, data analysis and presentation, will be explored. Laboratory, one period. Prerequisite: ENVSC*110 and permission of the instructor. Distribution Requirements: CL, SP. This course counts as Natural Science for the purpose of satisfying the College distribution requirement for students who matriculated before Fall 2016.
