ENGL 203 - Studies in American Literature

Description
A study of historically-defined topics in American literature. Emphasis will be on the relations among literary works produced during the same historical period, on the interactions between literature and culture during a historical period, and on the changes and developments that establish the boundaries between one period in literary history and another. Sample topics: Fiction, Realism and Naturalism. Distribution Requirements: HE.
