ECON 579 - The Employment Relationship

Description
An examination of the employee-employer relationship through the lenses of labor and personnel economics, human resource management and organizational behavior. Topics may include the economic impact of organized labor, the role of public policy and labor market institutions, evolution in management theory, job satisfaction and employee motivation, and a historical/cultural perspective of work in the United States. Prerequisite: ECON*200, ECON*201, ECON*202, ECON*203, and permission of the instructor. Distribution Requirements: None.
