DMS 111 - T'ai Chi Ch'uan

Description
A physical and intellectual examination of T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a Chinese system of exercise, a form of moving meditation and a martial art. Students learn a basic form or series of postures. We examine the cultural, historical, religious, and psychophysical underpinnings of this art through reading and discussion. Credit: Two semester hours. Distribution Requirements: HE, IP.
