COMRT 235 - Advanced Public Speaking

Description
A practical exploration of the skills and theories of effective public presentation. Students perform a number of formal and informal speeches and engage with readings on the nature of context, audience, persuasion, and persona. Our studies foster a commitment to civic engagement by focusing on the skills of public dialogue essential to processes of citizenship, community and social change. Distribution Requirements: CL, ME.
