ART 261 - Sculpture I

Description
A beginning level course covering traditional as well as contemporary forms of sculptural expression. Considerations of form, space, and scale, as well as the significance of materials and process will be explored. Projects will involve clay modeling, wood construction, carving, and mixed media. Prerequisite: Any 100-level studio art course or permission of the instructor. Distribution Requirements: HE, ME.
