FI 632 - Financial Institutions

Description
Presents concepts and techniques related to the management of financial institutions such as banks, credit unions, etc. Topics include bank services, organizations of the banking industry, analysis of bank financial statements, asset-liability management, hedging against interest rate fluctuations, raising funds, deposit creation, the Federal Reserve System, and laws and regulations governing the industry. Pre-requisite: FI 530 or equivalent.
