SPCH 1318 - Interpersonal Communication

Description
This course focuses on the theories and exercises in verbal and nonverbal communication with focus on interpersonal relationships. Students improve their interpersonal skills by examining issues involving: language, nonverbal communication, culture, listening, conflict resolution, and self-concept. (Excellent for students entering the fields of health care, education or any occupation with a high level of interpersonal exchange.) This course fulfills the additional Communication component area option of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, and Personal Responsibility.
