PHYS 1301 - General Physics I Lecture

Description
Students study motion, forces, conservation of energy, momentum, fluids, wave motion and heat. This course meets the requirements for biology, pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-pharmacy, pre-architecture and other majors. The lab, PHYS 1101, is recommended but not required to be taken concurrently. This course fulfills the Life and Physical Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork.

Professor Zhou is so amazing. I took this class online, and was able to do well on every homework (which we get solutions for), discussion, and quiz. The final exam was extremely similar to the study guide which helped a TON. I would DEFINITELY take again.

Your class will go like this. Lecture read from slides >1 or 2 very simple examples >lots of homework over things you didn't learn in lecture and didn't do an example for (with no list of equations) >learn from YouTube videos because he didn't teach you anything >do quiz that's not bad> do review for test >test with nothing that was on the review.
