Description
(3-0-3), fall, spring. A study of the cellular structure, metabolic pathways, regulatory, and genetic exchange mechanisms of microorganisms and how these relate to microbial roles in the bioshpere, industry, and disease processes. Corequisite: BIOL 357. Prerequisite: BIOL 312 or CHEM 223. For biology and biochemistry majors.
