ANSC 343 - Animal Reproduction

Description
(3-0-3), fall, odd years. Physiological processes of reproduction in farm animals, anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system, endocrine relationships, fertility and factors affecting reproduction efficiency, principles of artificial insemination, methods of improving reproductive performance and the ethics of using reproductive technologies. Prerequisites: ANSC 111, BIOL 112/114 and BIOL 113/115.
